I paid for PPI's on my Boxster and Elise, knowing that the next owner will likely do the same. That being said, I sold a specialty car to a gentleman who insisted on a dealer PPI. Drove it to the dealer, watched them check the tires, plug in an OBD scanner and come back 30 minutes later. He seemed satisfied, but I would've been pissed if that was my $200...
