Pre-season Daytona testing this week

Looking for something to do this week? Here's the official word from Grand-Am:

Who: Approximately 40 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge entries will be testing the 3.56-mile road course in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 28-29 and the GRAND-AM 200 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race on Jan. 27.

When: Wednesday, Nov. 16 and Thursday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Daytona International Speedway

Who: Among the GRAND-AM teams expected to be testing include Predator Performance/50+ Racing and AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson, Spirit of Daytona, Michael Shank Racing, Brumos Porsche, Stevenson Motorsports, Rum Bum Racing and Rebel Rock Racing

Spectators: A section of the Oldfield Grandstands will be open free to the public with access available through the lobby of the Daytona International Speedway ticket office.

Please list all local buffets , skateboard parks hours and entry fees

Easy.

China Buffet: in the Kmart shopping center across from the speedway.

Free outdoor skatepark at the corner of Nova Road and Main Train in Ormond Beach. I think the lights are on until 11:00 pm.

I'll be there with one of the smaller teams running in the Rolex series. Somehow I know I'm gonna be sick at work those days too.

Just looking at the driver lineups for this week and noticed something interesting regarding the Brumos car:

What's interesting, Hurley's back?

He told me he would be when I spoke to him at Mid Ohio last month.
