Comes down to money and rules. I know in Grand Am ST, you can run Motec engine management, which is almost $10,000 alone. Coilovers, diff cooler, ect. I'm not quite sure what you are allowed to do in, I'm assuming, MX-5 Cup. Money is basically the answer.
