A friend of a friend is selling his 2004 Honda Civic coupe. It's red, stick, and has 250k miles. Did a timing belt and head at 180K, has NEVER done the clutch, no rust, no accidents, 1 owner, a/c has been inop for years. Stone cold stock.
What the heck is this thing worth?

1500 tops here
This sounds like a solid ballpark. The lack of AC is a killer IMHO.
What's the exterior and interior condition like?

I assume at 180k, the headgasket went out and it was done then? You should be ok, but its something to watch out for on the D17
The a/c is all there, it just doesn't work and he never fixed it. The car itself is remarkably clean. Bright red, no rust, no dents, paint is holding up. Interior is nice.
At 180k the head gasket went and he went ahead with a whole top end refresh at that time.
They’re ~ $650 “Buy It Right Now” from IAAI/CoPart in run/drives and ‘as donated’ condition. So $1200-$1500 seems reasonable.
