Man, bad Mazda juju today...first the struts on nieces car and just now the drivers window fell into the door on the Protege!
Had a quick look at Doorman to see what a new power regulator is worth. Funny that they list the rear ones but not the front ones.
I have not yet pulled the door panel off to see what went wrong. Anyone been inside the door panel on a 2002 Protege or have any experience with how they fail? Afraid to call Mazda!
Check with Advance Auto. We should be able to get our hands on it for $150 or so.
Found a new regulator for under $100. Mazda wants $160. Took a chance and ordered.
Is it a Dorman/Motormite part? I sell those by the truckload and rarely see one come back under warranty.
