It's not like I'm not trusting the BRZ with its new used engine and all that, and I've definitely absolutely not looked around for an ND speculatively, oh noes.

Anyway, I thought that an ND Club with the Brembo package would also automatically have the Recaro seats, but it looks like that isn't the case for ND1s. The lone ND2 Club I can find with Brembos does also have the Recaros.

Are the Recaros an ND2 specific option?

I don't know about the ND1, but for ND2 the Recaros and the Brembo/BBS package are separate options.  The defining characteristics of the Club trim level are the Bilstein shocks and the LSD, along with some other interior stuff.

My understanding is that the Recaro seats aren't a complete seat design from Recaro, but a variation on the standard Sport/Club seats just with different foam and covering.  Some find them more comfortable, some find them less comfortable.  If you want them, get a car that already has them because they're just about unobtainable on the used market and violently expensive direct from Mazda.

So according to Mazda, it looks like the Brembos and the Recaro seats are part of a package (at least for the 2020 model), just like ShinnyGrove said:

The MX-5 Club enters 2020 with Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM as a new feature. When equipped with the Skyactiv-MT manual transmission, this trim level includes a limited-slip differential, Bilstein dampers, front shock tower brace and sport-tuned suspension. This trim level includes all the i-Activsense safety features from the MX-5 Sport and enhances the driving experience with a Bose® nine-speaker audio system that includes passenger headrest speakers, SiriusXM® radio with three-month trial subscription and LED daytime running lights. The MX-5 Club is equipped with heated black cloth-trimmed seats with silver stitching, 17-inch Metallic Black aluminum alloy wheels, front black air dam, black rear lip spoiler and black interior accents and vinyl leather to help instill a sporty environment.

Exclusive to MX-5 Club models with manual transmission, Mazda offers a Brembo/BBS Recaro Package that helps add a little more thrill to the nimble roadster. This package features Brembo front brakes, BBS 17-inch Dark Gunmetal forged wheels, heated Recaro Sports Seats and black aero kit that includes side sill extensions and rear bumper skirt. For the MX-5 Club RF, this package includes a hand-painted black roof.

Recaros are ND2 specific.

Thanks. I guess the above explains why I can find only one ND2 with that spec within a halfway reasonable distance from here.

So I guess it's either boost or factory Recaro...
