My new 'performance' car is an ex-cop car too!
I'm eyeing police chargers there are a bunch locally that are surplus highway patrol v8 cars.
Qw have had several ex-cop cars over the past 10 years.
Mostly Crown Vics but we had a Chevy SS as well.

I have a saved search for Explorer Police Interceptor AWD with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Going to get me a new DD dadmobile and tune it up with a 5 Star Tune. Can't be much heavier than that Taurus and I think it will smoke most muscle cars on the street from a stoplight!

YUP! Ours is an 84 unmarked state police veteran. 351HO, duals, Buckets, rubber floor, certified calibrated 140 speedo, guage pack, and a huge amount of other upgraded bits including 750lb springs and huge anti sway bars. Even the frame was diffeent. We LOVE this car...
