So, like the title should  ask, will the 7000TL with mfg listed frame length of 70.75 inches fit between the front and rear wheels of a Miata and function properly to lift it? Looks like it should slide in there, but I'm not sure it will clear everything as it cycles through the range of motion. Anybody tried this model with "the answer"? 

Home Despot currently has the 7000TL on sale for $1569 with free shipping and it will work for my other vehicle.

I know the 5000 fits just under a Miata or an X1/9. I think the 7000 it's longer.

So here are the current model QuickJack specs from their website.  I highlighted the 7000TL frame length of 70.75".  I don't know if the specs apply to older models or not...

I think you should be okay with that?  The newer 5000SLX has a 70" frame and works fine on my NA as long as place it carefully otherwise it'll hit the tires on the way up.  Another 3/4" is probably just fine, but I can't say for sure.
