Do 13 inch wheels from earlier generation VW's fit over the brakes on 2 liter mk3 vw's? I know they came with 14's stock.

Thanks!

14" aluminum fit so 13" steel probably will fit.

Which brakes do you have? I have seen 9.4" brakes on A3s. If that's what you have, then definitely 13" will fit.

I don't know. Long story short. Wife's good friend, has a teen age son looking for his first car. I took him autocrossing last summer in my car, and of course he loves it. He found a mk3 golf on craiglist for short money. I happen to have a few sets of 4x100 13 inch rims for another project that never materialized along with some slicks and other sticky rubber for them. Thinking I'd give them to him, but don't want to offer them to him and get his hopes up, if they won't fit. The car has steel rims on it now. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a set of alloys instead.

Quick answer.... yes.

My son races one as a ministock. We put 13s on to bring the revs up.
