I have a slight grinding noise on the 06 Si. After I shift, the noise comes from the trans area. Its very faint, and you can only hear it with the radio off. The car drives fine and shifts smooth, but we want to sell it and I want to fix this issue before anyone comes to drive it.

Thanks guys!

Don't turn the radio down anymore.

Does it happen in all gears ?

And, does it happen when you are coasting in gear as well as when you are on the gas pedal ?

Noisy diff? Check level and condition of gear oil.

Bad wheel bearing? Might be able to pinpoint by swerving at speed and listening to change in pitch.

It happens in 1st and 2nd, but thats it. (knock on wood). The car just went through the 90k mile service 6k ago, so the fluids should be good. Ill check behind them though. Thanks.
