Orange door jambs on a white car? 

Should I forget that I ever had this idea? 

Engine bay an maybe wheel wells will be orange too.

I could see the engine bay being orange. Plus it would have some utility in spotting leaking fluids more easily. door jambs and wheel wells would just make the car look unfinished I think.

if I were to do a car in matt black or gray, I would probably do all opening areas in white to mimic that of airforce and navy aircraft. Other than that.. nope

For what it's worth, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ was pretty much spot on. 

I want to paint the door jambs before I hang the doors since I know me, and they won't come off again for a looooong time once they go on. (And I'm way too OCD to paint them with the doors installed. 

I have the orange paint now and was feeling cheap and lazy. 

The engine bay will definitely be orange though. 

I look forward to pissing off the old AMC purists. 

I think it could be cool.
