Pretty much everything PJ O'Rourke ever wrote about cars.

On that stands out was his review of a Rent-A-Wreck Mustang in LA:

“a full nine yards of ruptured Mustang grille with one headlight pointed at Voyager 2 and the other searching for nightcrawlers.”

I've always liked:

Which partly explains why I daily drive a V12 Aston Martin and have more E30 M3s than I should while living in an apartment in the city.

There was a similar quote regarding safety devices.

"If we wanted people to drive more safely, we'd put a sword in the steering wheel, not an airbag."
