i have some  blown OEM Shocks it makes sense to me to replace them all.    these are  within about 200 buck on mini mania.I have 16 inch wheels wit the  run flats.

  • Koni active,
  • Bilstein B6
  • Sachs OEM

which is best for -- lets call it fast road...  no autocross,  not lowered,   might go back to autocross,  but not this summer.

I'd go with the Konis......but look around, Mania is about the most expensive place you can go for Mini/MINI parts.....once you have the part number, shop around! Used to be it was pretty easy to score a complete set of OEM takeoff shocks, but those seem to have dried up now.

My 2009 R55 has a little over 105K on the OEM shocks and they seem fine so far.....

i wasn't going to buy from them,  but they had prices for all 3.

I have friends who have used them in the past on their R53's and R56's and really liked them, that's all......

Bros r56 is on Koni yellows. Amazing shocks. He finished quite high in STH, despite the car not really being prepped for it, and it was his first AX event ever! Eibach+Koni ftw.
