Any opinion on the 2 piece 67" Race Ramps. How durable, are they well made? Have a BMW Z4 SI and need a low angle aproach ramp. Other alternatives?

Have you looked at rhino ramps? They cost half what the race ramps do, and while they don't have quite as low an approach angle, I've yet to find a car that won't go up my rhino ramps.
I use Rhino ramps for my pickup to make the car trailer angle better. They've held up quite well and have no problem supporting a blatantly overloaded full size F100.

Neither my Speed3 or Starion would go up Rhino Ramps without causing potential damage to the lip. Both were stock height. Yet my slightly lowered Miata could?

Interesting. My very low Miata goes up without scraping, my Audi goes up fine, stock E39s and E36s fits fine on them -- I've probably put dozens of cars on the rhino ramps over the last decade and never found one that scrapes.
Anyhow, it's probably worth measuring the approach angle on the Z4 and comparing it to the rhino ramps, because they're $45 vs... $300?!?!?! Is that really what a set of plastic race ramps cost? WTF?
I have cheapo no name plastic ramps. I need to put some 3/4" plywood strips down in front of the ramps so the RX-8 doesn't scrape. I want some nice ramps eventually :)
I use the Rhino ramps, they've worked for a lowered Fox Mustang, an E36, and a stock height C4 Corvette.
my lowered CRX scraps on the Rhino ramps ... solution ... a couple of 2x12's leading onto the ramps ... seems to do the trick
Do the Rhino Ramps advertise the approach angle? Race ramps advertises 10.8 degrees. I have some old steel ramps and they don't come close to working with the Z 4. I also don't like them because they tend to slip on concrete going up and and worse yet side out (spit out) when going down. Do the Rhino ramps stay in place? Also how tall are the Rhino's?
