I'm planning on going to the rally in the woods on the 23rd off February. Its in Salem, MO and I'll be taking a ton of photos. Looks like a good time, but I'll be going just for the one day.

Anyone want to tag along?

I've got a seminar on the 22nd, but I will be there on the 23rd. I'll see if I can drag Clem and singleslammer with me.
Just to spectate, Logdog. The 23rd is the only day I plan on going. It looks like we may have a Back 40 field trip. People from StL to KC are talking about going now. I'd have signed up, but I don't think the Cadavalier would pass tech.
In reply to N Sperlo:
Each team is allowed one media pass for special access. I know that many teams don't use theirs, so maybe you could get one?
In reply to pushrod36:
It could take some kissing ass or knowing someone. It really may be a stretch. Spectating should be so open that there really shouldn't be too many restrictions.
In addition, just to clarify, I'm not deciding weather I'm going or not, its an invitation for forum members to join me.
We went a couple years ago, it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it's not likely to be in the cards this year

Hahahahahahahahahaha!
I'll be there.
But as a codriver.
In a 50 year old, three cylinder, two stroke SAAB 96.
It's got three times it's original horsepower and it's the oldest car currently competing in Rally America.

That is the coolest thing I've seen/heard all day!

Those things are easier to roll back onto their wheels if you leave off the roof rack.

The rack makes a great handle to pull ourselves out of the cage. Putting an FIA cookbook style cage in a tiny car like this makes it VERY tight.
N Sperlo wrote: Keller & McDaniel? I think you used the wrong flags.
The only other flag we would have put on there was the Texas flag. There's NO way we'd put Holland (Keller) and Scotland's (McDaniel) flags on the car.
In reply to modernbeat:
Heh. Well, you don't see me running the Italiano flag. Not on my vehicle at least.
Looks like I'm crewing this year unless anything goes wrong. Look for the #319 Neon in service, and I'll probably be somewhere near it.
Edit: Its been a while since I lived in Missouri. Is Kyoto in Rolla still pretty much the best Japanese restaurant in the area of 100AW, or is there anything better?
