I was there, and it's a pretty awesome show. Saw a lot of GRM T-shirts there, too.

I saw part of the show, it was pretty interesting. I didn't know Jeff Ward was running in that series now - I've been following his career since he was a little kid. Not many people know he was in the motorcycling movie On Any Sunday, when he only about seven years old.

I thought it was a good show, but I wish they opened up the track a bit for passing opportunities.

If you go, spend time in the paddock. Even though it was wicked hot this weekend, you could find drivers wandering about, signing autographs, etc. Plus the teams work out of their haulers, meaning fans get a great view since the cars aren't tucked back in the garages.

Lots of work is done, too. We watched Tanner's car come off the track on a flatbed with broken right-front suspension. His team had about 12 minutes to fix it for the LCQ. They got him to grid in time, and he transferred.

After the race, he signed a tire.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to speak with you more. We had a pretty busy weekend. I saw a lot of grm shirts as well, and was dying to talk to them. Could you guys turn the heat down for our next visit.....please?
