Here's a thread dedicated to sweet head turners you spied on your drive to and from work, list what, when, where:
80s Toyota SR5 Turbo
60/70s BMW 2002
Both at the same intersection near my house getting on I-285 in Atlanta on my way to work, I was following the SR5, the 2002 was coming the other way
6:55am
I-240 on the south loop this morning I saw two old dudes in a white mid-Sixties (65 or 66) Caddy de Ville convertible, top down. Had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't Colonel Tom and Elvis

While I lived in Jamesville for a short time up in New York, I routinely saw a new Aston Martin something (who can actually tell them apart?) just driving back and forth to work. Very nice.
Every morning, I see a yellow with black stripes Lotus Exige going in the other direction in I-495 toward Cape Cod MA. I like to think it's someone awesome going to work at Factory Five or something. They are right off of Exit 3.
I took a different way home yesterday and was amazed to see this
There are tons of sweet cars here in the A. Love it!
I keep seeing an old Dotson 2000cc I think (don't know what model. Not too familiar with the older ones.). It gives me dirty thoughts. Its pretty rare to see anything around here not on rims here in crime riddled North Saint Louis.
Edit: Its a Dotsun 2000. Pic added.
I saw a Lancia at Dunkin Donuts the other day. I'm assuming he was just using the pay phone to call a tow truck.
Alfa Montreal during the summer months. On occasion a Ruf-modified 935 slant nose is around town, and a BMW M1. .
On the way home I see a later yellow NSX in a driveway that never seem to move.
I've passed a Maserati Gran Tourismo and a Ferrari 355 Spider in the last few days. An Elise too, but these days they're not so rare around here.

I saw an Aston Martin something or other a few days ago on my way to walmart to grab a cable for my stereo. The same walmart where I saw a 360 Ferrari in the parking lot.
I've seen enough vipers and porsches around here that I barely notice em anymore.
I had an old Carrera RS pass me on 95, loved the fact that not only could I still hear it way ahead of me, I could still smell it way ahead of me. Saw a new Ford GT on a highway heading up to the middle of PA back when they were just out.
And one of the oddest was an SL65 at a Wendys in sw Maryland.
I take a train to work (BART), and part of the elevated track overlooks a repair/restoration shop of some sort that regularly has all sorts of 60s alfas and assorted Ferraris in it's lot. Trying to ID as many cars as possible as the train zips by has become a commute time mini-game for me.
There's also a Briklin or something similar under a tarp in a guys back yard that I keep an eye out for.
The mention of that Bricklin reminded me that there's another wedgy 70's car near me that I pass every day on the way to work in the form of an orange Saab Sonnet III.

Considering I've live a small Prairie city I was shocked as well. There where two Porsche 911s behind plus a double garage with who knows what in it.
Occasionally I spy a bright orange Exige on the Interstate on the way to work, and then there's some rich toolshed that lives in a huge house about 1/4 mile away that has a Lambo Gallardo, a Ferrari F430, a Cadillac XLR-V, and a Bentley Continental GT. I want to key all of them.
Other than that, this is a pretty dead part of the world for cool cars. Around the Carlisle swap shows you can catch a couple cool ones, because it's only 15 miles away.

this is in the parking lot near my work, not really rare, just rare in this condition:
This past week i've seen an Audi R8 V10, a Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari F355, Porsche Carrera 4S, new Porsche 911 Turbo S, an Exige, Maserati Quattroporte, 1st gen Jag XKR...

Hey Silverfleet when did you move to Middleboro? I live in Carver near the Middleboro line. We should get together someday,I would love to see your CSX.
On topic, I see all sorts of rare(for these parts) cars when ever I go over to Martha's Vineyard,or Nantucket for work. I call them island cars as they don't exist on the mainland here in Saltachusetts. I have recently been going to Block Island as well, and they have the same ratio of old rare cars as the other two islands.

I know where that car is as well. Every Monday when driving to Volleyball I head by my parents house, and through the back roads of Middleboro, and I see that car every time sitting out behind the guys house next to his shed. TR8Todd inquired about it I think, and the guy said he was going to restore it. That was some 3-4 years ago,and it still hasn't moved.
Not to and from, but my son had to work in Virginia just outside DC for two weeks. The Car Valet guy got backed up so Ian offered to help. He had to shuffle a 911 to the front, a new Boxster around the block and back and a Ferrari. "Really, which one?"
"Dunno Dad, the one with the paddle shifters and Reverse is a button under the console."
Ah, that one.....
"Some Hispanic kid stuck his head in the window and told me how to move it, two flicks = nuetral.
The owner treats it like a Pinto wagon but he owns a football team nearby.

i work a new job near a wealthy neigborhood in PA. In my first 2 weeks i find myself lost in a sea of 911s boxters and the occasional jag. The top sight was a 911 gt3rs just parked in front of a restaraunt.
