What do you get when take apprentices from BMW's Munich and Dingolfing plants and let them play around with any BMW product of their choosing?
Apparently, you get this: the Mini Paceman Adventure—a one-off unveiled back in 2014.

Based on a Mini Cooper S Paceman ALL4 (the two-door version of the Countryman that they stopped selling a few years ago), the …

It's cool, but they really should've done better on that tailgate...
Cool to see a modern take on the commercial
I like it. Put a bike in the back....
Upon reading the title and thinking of the idea and potential, I thought that I'd love it. But upon seeing the final product, I unfortunately don't.
It does make me think of other potential prerunner platforms though.
Unfortunately, it looks more like an exercise in a hacksaw gone berserk........maybe their Sawzall got out of control.
Considering they kinda had to work with the existing Paceman hatch, the tailgate is acceptable.
Once in awhile I think a Paceman All4 JCW would be fun to have. They didn't sell many, so you definitely wouldn't see another one very often.
I think it's an interesting experiment. Cooler than a Subaru Baja, but not nearly as cool as the Brat. If that makes nay sense?
I tend to like Ute conversions, but honestly, this one looks kinda silly. And if you have an open bed there, why the hell would you put the tire (and its weight) up on the roof? (rhetorical question....I know full well that if you're gonna pose as a "rally" or "baja" or whatever you have to have a roof rack with tire and lights on it). Also, I know it doesn't need much air, but that snorkel is hilariouslly tiny :)
But, I guess as a pre-runner (i.e. a scout car for rally or whatever), it would probably be decent.
I think Hyundai did it better
