I've got 6 Ford vehicles. For those 6 vehicles I have 8 different keys. I hate carrying a lot of keys. I also hate having to go back inside to get the keys for something. Can I have all of them re-keyed to use the same key? It sure would be nice to just carry one that fit everything. Especially since I just found some pad locks that can be keyed to Ford keys that I could used on the trailers. That would let me get rid of 4 more keys.

Any of you guys in the locksmithing business?

As long as they are all the same basic construction, yes. If they are new enough to have security built into the key, you will have to introduce the key to each vehicle, but that won't be a problem, since the key is dumb. Its just providing a signal. It might get a bit costly paying the locksmith, and the repetitive work of removing ignition, door and trunk locks might get boring after a while.

I never got around to it, but I had a Dakota pickup that I used to pull my two Neon race cars around. I was going to get all three keyed alike, so I would never get to the track without a key for the racer.

They are all standard keys, so no smart keys to deal with. I think my problem is going to be the age range. The oldest is a 89, the newest is an 02.

Easy to do. Every key has a code. That code just corresponds to a depth of cut. Select a key and go with it.

You can also get a tumbler kit from ford for door and ignition's, now I've never tried to re-key that many locks to 1 key but I don't see why it would not work.

If you do go that route the first few will suck major ones but after 3-4 it will be easy.
