WTF happened in that hairpin at 1:39? And what the hell was with that Audi diving SUPER late on the corners?
IIRC they were leading the race (or damn close) and leading class when a berklytard in a BMW punted them. Can't win in the penalty box They still had a respectable finish though. Good show for a stock junkyard 318 with a tunnel ram LOL!
Is that normal for the Lemons races? I know they're cheap crap can cars, but I'd still be pissed it I was rammed off the road by a douche bag. It seems like that kind of driving makes it unnecessarily dangerous.

so true. these kinds of vids make me not want to even attempt to run a crapcan race.
The ones at CMP ain't like that. It gets tight and there's some questionable rookie moves but overall it's pretty clean.

IIRC, in Lemons racing, both parties get put in time out if there's significant contact. Guilt is shared whether both are guilty or just one.

Is Chump any different? If so that alone would make me run away from Lemons.

Yup, rule 6.1:" It's Always Your Fault"
That reminds me of one of those indoor karting places where a lot of the chassis' are bent up and only a couple of people know what they are doing.

I moved to Chump from Lemons and found that the driving and cars are faster in Chump and I enjoy the atmosphere more there. That's just personal preference. I enjoy the lighter atmosphere in both series, but the shtik comes before the the racing in Lemons.
I will say that all of the races I've been in have been pretty clean. A few bonehead moves here and there, but you see that in club racing too.
