I’m helping my son in-law work on his 200,000 mile 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee.We have a noise that sounds like it’s coming from the rear passenger side axle.It’s a low pitched noise sound .I changed wheel bearing and seals for him a couple weeks ago.The noise seem to go away but after 10 days,or so ,the noise came back.It has new rotors and calipers.The pinion seal doesn’t show any sign of ever leaking.There was no metal shavings in the lube or rearend when I pulled the axles.It’s a straight 6,automatic.fulltime awd.
This is his daily driver so thanks for any help in advance.
