It's in the infancy research stage for when I recover. Looking to potentially build a tow rig with under body protection and suspension bits

i have had good luck with fabtech 2wd lifting parts in a past life when i was in my teens and wanted a lifted truck.
I'm sure a slight lift will come with the territory, suspension travel and fitting some rubber will be more primary concerns though, I honestly don't care if it rides as stock height as long as it can still handle landing after being launched at 70mph
A tow rig that flies? Sounds like a painful landing.
I can't comment without at least trying to offer something useful. How much is used raptor stuff going for? I've seen enough lifted raptors already to know the parts are out there and I bet the might could be adapted
Fun note: first year Raptors have an extra groove or two in the body of the Fox shocks. This means you can just move the perch and voila - instant lift.
Ford caught on after the first year. Story told to me by the Fox development engineer, I have not independently verified.
What's the base tow rig? Tacoma? Seem to be lots of Taco prerunners.
Total Chaos. Great stuff.
Or save some serious cash and buy someone elses project

In reply to Keith Tanner:
plan is for a 2017 Colorado Diesel. (I'm aware stuff won't be out for it yet, hence the vendor recommendations at this point).
My friend Eric pointed out that "long travel" makes for some fun Craigslist searches, especially in the desert states.
I'm interested in the flared fiberglass fenders and bed sides. Not for off roading, but for monster slicks on the street.
RoadsterShop did an incredible Colorado pre runner for SEMA this year. Their stuff is decidedly un-grassroots though: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-GBBtezzKsw
These are the bedside and fender guys. http://www.hannemannfiberglass.com/custom.asp?id=457567&page=45

Always wanted to do a 92-96 Bronco. From what I read on that site (and a friend who lives our near LA), Autofab are great guys to deal with.
