I just picked up an RX7 FD donut for my NC Miata. Fit is perfect, but the tire on it is 21 years old and looks like its been used a few times. Not scared of it, but I'd feel safer with something fresher on it.

Problem is I've found absolutely no listings for a 135/70/16 anywhere. Any suggestions for a replacement?

Junk yard. Look for the build date on the data tag in the door jamb. I bet they are cheap since most people don't have the common sense that you do and don't realize spare tires don't last for 50 years.

Last I heard, tire stores can order donuts.

Thanks for the reference to Tirerack, kind of surprised that they weren't even listed on the wholesale site either. But sure enough called them and had a few options for me.
