Asking for a friend - no, really!
He spotted a slightly modded 2nd gen Camaro at a dealership in Sherman TX. Trouble is that he's in Europe and can't just wander over there and have a gander at the car before making a decision about pulling the trigger on it or not. And I'm also a little too far away to check it out.
Does anybody have a recommendation for a local place or person to do a PPI? If anybody is local, would you by any chance be able to have a look at the car to see if it's roughly as nice as it looks like in the pictures?
This is the car in question, btw.
Edit: Forgot to mention - I did find a few people in the area (mostly in Dallas) advertising their inspection services, but I would rather go off a recommendation from someone on this forum.
There's a few GRM members in that area who post daily.
Not close anymore but just a comment. Their product has been hit and miss over the years so I wouldn't buy anything without a good inspection. They supposedly have gotten better with the new owners though but I wasn't impressed.
I was up there a couple years ago and there was a lot of lipstick in the lot if you know what I mean.

Pardon my French, but the car looks like a Gas Monkey Garage type build. I would get a really good inspection on it, maybe even a dyno pull or two to see if it's making claimed HP.
There's gotta be nicer second generation Camaros around to drag to Europe.
In reply to sergio :
Other than the ugly wheels, what does a Gas Monkey Garage type build mean?
I'm asking out if ignorance because I don't know what I'm really looking at when I look at these type of cars.

Agreed on the rims! And when I think of the referenced show, and the other flip for profit shows, I think of "lets cut whatever corners we can, couse we are profit guys, not car guys!!!!
