The stock mirrors on my truck are kinda weird. Flat instead of slightly convext? They seem to provide very little viewing area for their average size.

Replacements seem to be iffy to google for, as it looks like there's a body year change at '97/98, with some '97s having the newer style body and mirror? Mine's an F-250HD, which seems to actually be slightly more meaningful and odd than I'd have thought. Also, the later ones apparently have some trucks on 7-lug wheels (!?). Which is irrelevant to mirrors, but straaaaange.

Anyhow, I'd like better mirrors that just fit the stock mounting points, but mostly I'm hoping that someone with the same era truck as me (and this appears to be nominally '92-'96, despite mine being a '97... frown ) has upgraded their mirrors and can say "You want these ones!"

Welcomed me to my world.

7 lugs are the LD or light duty version F250. POFS.

You have the OBS F250, 99% of 92-96 version parts fit. Only a few times has that been the case.

Some F600 or F700 mirrors of the same era would get you genuine semi truck mirrors.

Might want to check on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts board, they pointed me to a cheap set on Amazon that are well suited for towing. The upper is flat and the lower is convexed /wink. They are holding up well for only $100

IIRC, they were for a 2010(?) truck, the fit guide said they would not fit a 2002 truck but they did.
