AC, interesting, I skipped DC this year l, as that course is lacking, AC could be interesting though.
Hmmm interesting. Good for Atlantic City for getting the event. Besides for being peak beach goer season in surprised that Wildwood NJ didn't get it for after Labor Day and do the race on the sand.
I saw the course layout and it looks like it's going to be an interesting event. I'm most likely heading down tomorrow to catch the qualifying and practice. Going to get the preferred general admission so I have some shade and not bake in the sun.
I wanted to head down today just for the car parade they mentioned on twitter. Too much going on and in too much pain for a 6 hour car ride this weekend, unfortunately. Think this is the closest they get to home for me.
I ended up going Saturday for practice/qualifying and had a blast. Crowds were manageable and the setup was real fan friendly (you can walk through the paddock and get real close to the cars). I will see if I can post up pictures here this week at some point. Mrs. DX couldn't go due to a prior commitment with friends but she wants to go next year after watching it on tv and seeing pictures. Win
