Reed switch vss to Megasquirt

Anyone happen to hook the vss from a t5 transmission to a megasquirt?what signal does the sensor output and what inputs should I be using on Ms?

I'm  told its a reed switch sensor.

Trans is from a foxbody mustang.

Not entirely sure why you'd need to add this to the MS, but there's some solutions listed there.

Speed-based boost control, traction control, launch control, auto trans control, or even a top speed limiter if you wanted one for some weird reason (maybe if you can exceed your tire's rated max speed).

Yes speed based boost control. I may as well hook it up now when wiring. May never be used....!
