looks like a forum in Australia has bought it and is going to kill it!

The car will meet a very violent death, preferably via large explosions and/or fire. It's hideous, but far from one of the worst cars in the world.......

Pretty pathetic that people or groups have the money floating around to buy something (anything) simply for the purpose of destroying it, when there are actual good causes they could use that money for (in automotive/motorsports or a million other things).

I mean...their tow vehicle has ricey-looking taillights that should be destroyed at the same time (whether they're stock or not).

Dont know. Not that terrible, just bad paint and some asthetics. That tow car is just as bad.

Theres a hundred 'stance' cars id destroy first, honestly.

The worst part, is half the kids E36 M3ting on it would think it was cool if it was an accord or something.

Of course everybody hates on the Mitsu tow vehicle, with its OEM appearance (yes, including the taillights). Don't blow smoke up my ass, GRM, the Taurus is FAR WORSE than the leading Montero.

Montero = Pajero in Aus.

I think they're pretty cool, personally, but then I'm a sucker for SWB 4WDs.

Amazingly two different groups have spent money on this stupid taurus in two equally lame ways....

I meant....why don't all these guys put their money together and restore an old racetrack or something useful.

this is something useful.. it's dumb entertainment for the masses.

The only problem I see with this. It is down under. How soon till Health and Safety gets wind of it and they are forced to destroy it using nerf tools while wearing full kevlar armour just so somebody does not get hurt?

I'm all for the trebuchet Idea. If that doesn't work, maybe enter it in a demo derby? Run it over with a tank? viking funeral? chain it between two trucks doing a pulling competition? shooting range? archery range? OO! I got it. fill it with flammable explosives, and have longbowmen shoot flaming arrows at it until the explosives go off!
