Oh no, New Beetles have a lot more room to work in under the hood, and they never came with AWD.

I'd still much rather work under the hood of a TT than, say, any Mitsubishi ever. Or any truck. Especially fargin' V6 trucks where the engine has more setback than a 4th gen Camaro only you get to strain your knees AND your back trying to access anything. (Yes, I spent the last hour of work today pulling the intake off of a 4.2l F150 and I'm still sore. And of course the IMRC rod clips are all broken/missing, so a simple gasket replacement (because who in their right mind still makes plastic backed O-ring gaskets??? GM has gone to metal backing, why not Ford?) is now a wait for parts. And I need that bay tomorrow for other things.
