Its out. Hole is helicoiled now. But, center cap screws on!

Sweet! I got the wrong impression from your description but once I saw the photos I was in agreement with BFH-ing it. Good job!

Yes, diagnostic skills are also transferrable.  It's really a mind set on the diagnostic end.  In both cases, you have to know how what you're working on works, then observe what is not working or not working properly (symptoms) and back into what could possibly be wrong.

Like Neurologists.  They really, really know the nervous system.  They get a patient, get a history (it started making this funny sound a few days ago...), do a physical examination (there's oil coming out and a miss...), think about it, then say "I think the lesion is here."  Then they do an MRI and go "See, told you," or "Oh, yeah, that would work also."  Then they give them steroids and put those air stockings on them.  Done. Anyway, Neurologists are great diagnosticians.
