What products/methods does the hive recommend for removing adhesive leftover from exterior trim bits on painted surfaces? Preferably without messing up the paint underneath.

I've used Goo Gone at some point in the past, just curious if there's anything better out there.

Wax & grease remover, keep it wet and don't be impatient. Won't harm paint.

Bestine rubber cement thinner.

3M general purpose adhesive remover.  This is what it's designed for, and it works very well.  You should be able to find it at most any auto parts store.

stuart in mn told you all you need to know.  I've used it & been pleased with it. It won't harm paint or trim.

WD-40 works also.

Pneumatic eraser wheel if it is on there thick, if you aren't careful though you can burn the paint
