Had pretty good luck with a very fine air nozzle on the compressor. You might have to scrape your first spot, but after that it comes up very easily.

Here are several methods: http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Window-Tint. From what I've heard the ammonia method works the best.

I had to do it when I bought that door for my Crx. It was not fun. It was old too which made it harder. I soaked it in Windex and ammonia then used a blower dryer. I used a razor blaze, getting off as much as I could, and kept spraying Windex/ammonia while using the hair dryer. Did I mention is was not fun? It took me 1-2 hours for one door window. Not sure if thats the best way out someone on here posted it so thats what I did.

I peel it without any treatment and then remove the adhesive with ammonia based window cleaner spray, letting the spray soak into the glue for a while is best, scrubbing is no good.

Sometimes it peels as a sheet, usually it comes off in bits and strips.

I used a blow dryer + razor blade. Not too bad.

Karl (from these forums) mentioned that this method was the best. He said to make sure you have plenty of liquid and let it heat up for a good hour or more. Bag removal process

Professional tint shops use steam

Pretty much just a clothing steamer like this

Works great.

Yup steam works great. Or you can try peeling it off in sheets and using a cleaner to get rid of the left over adhesive.

When I worked at MADICO we'd do test plates and put them under UV lights to make sure there was no fading etc. To remove wed peel if possible the edge if someone cut it to close to the test plate size wed cutt lines in the film then spray striaght lemon ammonia on them qucikly cover with saran-wrap (shrink wrap from shipping) and let it sit a few hours peel if needed an the wipe up the goo.

use soapy water , hot sun, black garbage bags to soften 1/2 hr ish direct sun , dollar store amonia spray , scrubbys , razor blades on side windows ..... black bags no real rhyme nor reason just put em on ,, soapy the better sit back drink a beer , test , no good drink another beer , keep soapy . Once film is basically off hit with amonia spray then hit with razor blades ,, don't be cheap 3 4 razor blades per side window .

Before tinting again tape off windows if have felt and rescrape new blade
