Nice idea, but it looks a little fiddly. At least with a jackstand, you just chuck it under there. No messing around with 4 different attachment points.
This is a simpler and more flexible solution but it has a whole lot of removable parts to keep track of. It would be handy for cars that are very picky about where they're jacked up and don't have any central jacking points, like a Lotus Elise.
If I have access to a rolling hydraulic floor jack, I'll usually use it to lift a whole end of the car by the front and rear center jacking points and then put the jack stands in place at the side points.
My M3 doesn't have a viable rear jack point other than the designated spot on the rocker panel ahead of the wheel. So it might seem like this stand would be a help.
But damn if it isn't easier to just go to the front jack spot and lift the whole side of the car up high enough to put a regular jack stand under the rear spot.
But if I had the same issue with a tall vehicle, that wouldn't work. So maybe it's useful for some trucks?
In reply to JBasham:
My MS3 is low enough that it's difficult to hit the center jack point at the back of the RMM. When it's sitting normally I haven't found a jack yet that can get under it without making contact with the lower aerotray.
Something like this would be pretty nice for that situation as I generally have to jack side one side on a pinch weld, drop the car on a flat spot of a ramp then get on the center point so I can put jackstands in. If you get the front end up forget about putting it on 4 jack stands because you can't get to the rear subframe to lift the back end.
This would solve those issues. I'd prefer to see some sort of adjustment mechanism like teeth on normal jackstands but I think the pins would be fine with the addition of some lanyards.

Same car, same problem. I've often wish I had something like this. I've resorted to jacking on the rockers and putting my jack stands under the main subframe bolts just inside of the rocker. Seems to work.
Hmm. I wonder if the adapter will fit under a C4 Corvette. I'm thinking no, but would be a very handy tool if it did.
Yeah I hear you, it's the same with the M3. I can't get a jack under the front jack point with all four wheels on the ground.
When I say "front jack point" and "rear jack point," I mean the ones on the rocker panel. You might call it "pinch weld" points. On a BMW, they are jack boxes.
So, think of it as jacking at the pinch weld behind the front tire, and getting it high enough to get a jack stand at the pinch weld in front of the rear tire (or a rear subframe crossmember, if you have one).
