A similar, rear-engined, Mini-powered car was the Deep-Sanderson.
In 1964, the D-S team ran one of their cars at LeMans and clocked over 150 mph with an early version of the 1275 "A" series Mini engine.
is it just me or does that Unipower have a slight '68 Mustang Fastback flair to the back end? either way, to both cars I say a loud and enthusiastic:
google peter pallendini
we have the moulds for one of his cars here ran mini gear in the rear apparently he stole the idea of lotus from when he worked there

Wow. Must be quite a slippery shape?
The Unipower is awesome, too. I want a car with the shifter in the door sill.
