Rice Rod's Frame - What Color?

I honestly can't decide. Satin black, silver, gloss white/vanilla, funky color, I'm open to options.

• Entire frame weldment, including rails and rear structure.
• No clue what final body color will be, but it will stay rusty for a while.
• Must look cool.
• The rear "Z" is visible from the side.
• Visible under the wood bed when open.
• Suspension can be different colors.
• I might match frame to the firewall, if it that looks cool.
• Available anywhere in rustoleum or similar quarts, open to mixing.

Datsaniti green/blue.

"Chassis Black" is a safe bet.

I'd recommend a pearl white.  It'll pop under almost any other color and can also add a cool contrast if the body color is something really funky/crazy.

Satin black, or a charcoal gray. Dark. Gives way more optiins for everything else, and doesn't create anything wierd for contrasts to other parts.

Yellow.

Honda Odyssey silver blue.

It will look awesome with the brown/red/bronze family that unfinished metal gets.

Red primer then clearcoat. Like my truck's wheels. Durable, attractive, cheap.

Red and white.  Because

I went gloss pewter on the Wartburg and have no regrets.  It really sets off all the other colors without getting lost as if it were just low gloss black.  We both built our frames from a pile of tubes, show that B off
 

The white is growing on me, but that pewter is beautiful too. Who sells that color?

What about more of a "cream" white?

**Personal opinion alert**
 

The frame should disappear and allow the body  and powertrain to "shine".

Satin black, gloss black, flat black? Black.

It's rustoleum hammered pewter but sprayed in light coats to minimize the hammered effect so it mostly just helps blend all the different areas

My vote be the vanilla/cream colored idea you mentioned. Lighter than appliance beige

Oh I really like that appliance epoxy almond. Not sure it comes in quarts though.

Yup, that's a winner from me. Not white which looks dirty too easy, or stands in complete contrast to the rest of the car when clean. The hammer pewter is a close second, but Patrick already did it, so Rice Rod needs something different.

I did the wheels on our fiat in vanilla. The easiest way was pick a color chip at Lowe's and take it to the auto body supply shop to be matched. 

As much as I like black with all the work in that frame the white would make it stand out more and I think the frame deserves to stand out in a build like this 

I have been going back and forth between black and white on another car that shows frame but I have landed on Porsche Chalk as my color. I really think it would look good on this one.
