Hit a small bird on the highway a long time ago with my Subaru Brat. The head got stuck in the grille, and I went down the highway with the body happily flapping in the breeze. I wondered why everyone was staring at my car until I got out. Heck of a grille badge.
Once on an autocross weekend...
I was running my ESP Mustang in a bracket elimination shootout autocross, came around a turnaround and saw a bird on the course.
Hell, I matted the throttle at the normal point and i figured it would move.
It'll move....
It's not moving....
It's not moving fast enough....
THUMP!
I never lifted. Got it with the bumper right below the drivers headlight.
Gets a touch worse as my friends wife was working the station right there. She is a vegitarian and it wasnt quite finished yet.
I lodged a few birds in the grill of our Aerostar while I was in HS. I also tagged one with the antenna of our Exploder a few years back (that was messy). Gotten a squirrel or two. I think a racoon tangled with a wheel at one point. Smacked a deer and went in a ditch in startled avoidence trying to miss another. The avoidence one ended with a bolder impact and the car on its roof, totaled and me not walking for a few weeks from banging my knees.
I had the "luck" to see a snow plow nail a deer with its blade a few years back.
It was.... graphic.
I hit a hawk the other day. 
At 60.
In a corner.
On my motorcycle.
Right in the face.
Glad I have a full-face.
