Picking up a 325e that has been garaged for a few years. It feels rough like out of round tires or worn wheel bearings. Will this smooth out after running it on the street or are the tires and/or bearing spent?

Really hard to say without actually knowing what the problem is. You could try getting the wheels balanced.

The tires may be flat spotted from sitting. Running it may help re-round them but you may want to consider replacement if they are old. Wheel bearings shouldn't feel like that; they usually just growl.

how long as it been sitting?

I'm agreeing with flat spots on the tires, but possible a shot strut?

if the tires don't look horribly dry-rotted, inflate them to around 55psi and drive on them for a few weeks that way. that technique made the square tires on my first 944 round again, after it had been parked in the same spot for 4+ years.

If the tires are over 7 years old, they're probably pretty sketchy in terms of grip, in addition to being flat-spotted.

Conventional wisdom on tires is that they have about a 7 year shelf life.

I'd look for cracks in the sidewalls of those tires if they say for a long time. Cracks mean time to replace...
