Here’s a look from inside the cockpit of Ryan Cheek’s 2006 Ford Mustang GT as it attacks the sharp turns and steep inclines of the 2021 Pine Mountain Hillclimb Presented by Grassroots Motorsports.
Telemetry during the run is included and, as an added bonus, we’re also treated to an in-depth walk-around of the Mustang after the run.

Huh, I didn't realize you didn't need a rollcage. I guess that means you need to be careful but the accessibility of the event is nice.

Generally, the roll bar / cage requirements depend on the level of prep. on the car. For some of the mostly stock classes, you only need the roll bar. For classes where you have more engine mods, engine swaps, etc. you need a full cage. Different hillclimb groups run different classes so, you need to look into each event's rules to see what you'll need.

I was able to spectate the event and it sure looked cool! Several drivers told me "its sketchy af!" I can't wait to give it a try in the future.

You need at least a 4point roll bar, as well as a handfull of other safety gear.
