Why are S-10 Blazers cheaper then S-10 pickups? I am kinda looking for a cheap compact truck not really planning on buying it until the end of this month or beginning of August and I would really like pickup but if something like a Blazer is cheaper I might go with a Blazer. Is there a good reason the Blazer is cheaper?
Edit: Nevermind Blazers never came with manuals.
well.
blazers are cheaper because it's not a pickup. pickups hold more value because they can be used to make money.
S10 seem to be in demand from the hot rod folks for frame swaps as well. Sometimes the equivalent GMC Sonoma is cheaper.

Sure they did. All of the first-gen Blazers could be had with stick, from the lowly 2-door, 2wd, Iron Duke, up to the 4.3. In the second-gen, I think they were all 4.3, but only the 2-door could be had with a clutch.
Nonetheless, they weren't very popular, and probably sold at a 1:9 ratio of automatics.

The guy who lives across the street from me has a first gen S10 Blazer as his poverty car. 4.3/5-spd. He drives the hell out of it, and it keeps on going and going and going, like S10s often seem to do.
Patgizz hit the nail on the head re: why they're cheaper.
