I didn't post in here cause i'm a slacker...

I moved... lost my double car garage, my 220v power... but I do have a small 1 car garage that I should be able to finish the truck up in...

before we moved I managed to finish up the trans mount...

I needed a bit of 1 1/2" or so square tubing for the under support portion on the cross member... I didn't have any around and because i'm the cheapo that I am and wanting to use stuff i've got laying around I ended up using a bit of bed railing (L steel) that I found some time back, I just cut it and welded it together to make a square...

I didn't take any pics in process but this is the finished product after paint and stuff... all mounted up

I also got the bed mounted back on the truck... 2 of the 6 bolts where stuck... I'd tried the PB blaster and vice grips... failed... tried welding a nut to the exposed bolt, it would unscrew about 1/2 a turn then snap again... so I drilled them out and just put a long though grade 8 though bolt... then mounted the old man leer camper top... and built a ghetto tail gate out of some lumber from an old water bed and loaded the bed up...

so now we're working on getting the small garage orginized enough that I can work in (going to start with doing the final clean wiring of the megasquirt then go from there... I need to find a decent 110v wire feed welder to weld up my exhaust so i'm surfing CL (think I found one)... don't want to get rid of my italian made HF MIG as it's one of the better ones (pre china) but sucks that I won't be able to use it for quite some time :-/

oh also found out i've got e85 about 3 miles from me... so she'll prob be drinking the corn fuel...

so thats whats going on in Webster (south of houston)
