OK, not big news. But for fans of the Swedish car maker (Chinese owned now) it's better than a kick in the nuts.

Here's hoping for good things.

I saw a couple of Fiats that were never sold here in Mexico so they were still sold in North America at least.

If this Saab is still the old GM chassis stuff that is boring. If they want to use an ancient chassis they should build the 9-2x again, lol.

I wonder what they are going to do now all the dealerships are gone.

They rolled two cars off the line about two months ago. No idea what they are planing for this run as far as numbers go.

Wally, love the Ikea idea. Sold in a flat pack, of course.

Hopefully that would also mean that they are moving away from the GM era tendency of using every possible odd sized metric fastener.

They need to jump on the retro trend and do an updated version of the 900. They need a shape that is distinctly SAAB.

Or an updated 96, Fiat 500 competitor.

That's because their cars are/were a mishmash of SAE metric and DIN metric and probably JIS metric as well, depending on who supplied what. Volvos are the same way. You get to use ALL of your metric tools on a Swedish car.

In reply to Knurled: 99s/c900s are not that way at all. 9000s only have a few odd fasteners. 9-3/9-5 OTOH, have me using wrenches that I never knew I needed.

If we're wishing, a 99 turbo would be awesome.
