I'm looking for a used wagon and I like the looks of the late 90's or maybe 2000-2001 93's and 95's but don't know much about reliability. Common sense tells me a European car that once cost quite a lot has since fallen into my price range ($3000) has fallen for a reason.
I know to stay away from the V6 but what else can you tell me?
I know you meant 9-3 and 9-5 but just to reinforce that, here's a picture of the 95, which was based around the 93;

Uh, yeah I meant 9-3 and 9-5. That car us, uh, ugly as sin.

They aren't very reliable, but their unreliability doesn't warrant their depreciation, IMHO. I think that it was just an odd duck, so never sold well, and that continued into the used market.
