For those of you who prefer your classic Swedes to be FWD, a guy on Saabnet has organized a Saab get together in August outside Detroit.
I know we have a bunch of confirmed and latent Saab enthusiasts on the board in the midwest.
I'm hoping to go, pending my call schedule. Looks like a good time, and I need some (well, a lot, actually) motivation to drag my C900 out and start working on it.

You should! Its possible that they won't taze you if you show up with a Volvo...
I wonder if I can get my Saab going by then. If not I could drive the Volvo.

I am going to put that on the schedule, but which car to drive up?
I'm visiting the in-laws the week before, and I don't think we're driving the Saab out there. Not sure if I'll be in the mood to drive from Pittsburgh to Chicago, switch cars, and then drive back out to eastern Michigan!

My in-laws are in Pittsburgh. I live in Chicagoland.
(threadjack: Those wheels worked out great, btw! I can drive the thing without the steering wheel trying to wobble my hands off! And we still need to put on that tune!)
