My inexpensive Actron scan tool/code reader has met most of my needs for years, but I would like to upgrade to a unit that can go beyond engine codes to reset SRS and ABS lights on a Porsche, maybe even reset the oil change reminder (in case I ever get a newer car). I am only looking to service my own cars, plus occasional friends and family. I found an old thread on this topic, but I am sure the product offerings have changed since then.
So, who can recommend a scan tool with SRS/ABS capability that they are happy with?
