SCCA Trans-Am from Mid-Ohio

Or the wreck that took out Amy. Didn't see it but heard the interview with the wrecker from another room. He blamed her for it with much detail. Following the interview I heard the announcers say something to the effect of ...I don't known what wreck he was talking about but it ain't what we saw.

After his penalty for causing contact in a 'hot' yellow flag turn, and then passing several cars during the later full course caution, he was nearly a lap down. He lapped quite slowly until the leaders came up behind him, and then proceeded to block the leader for a lap and a half. He got in too deep to the keyhole and left a big opening, which Amy took. He then tried to close the door, WAY TO LATE.

BTW, Trans-Am told him to go home and don't come back, as well as striking his results and all points from this race.

When you start threads like this, it's always best to be as vague and give as little info as possible.

That way those of us who didn't get to see the race have no idea what you're talking about or who was involved in the incident.

The race was just getting ready to start on TV.

And this guy is going to be racing in xfinity series also? He looks to be a "gentleman" driver of sorts since he is also an ad exec in Hollywood and his cars are sponsored by a movie. IMO he should have his racing license suspended until he can prove he won't get someone hurt.

In the Xfinity race at Mid-Ohio, he was in the middle of several incidents.

And guess who was the first to go a lap down after getting stuck in the T5 beach on lap one of the Xfinity Road America race?

Based on the post on Ruman's website, Drissi should be banned from Trans Am. There is no place for that type of behavior on or off the track.

Holy hell that guys a prick. Just watched the race, seemed to say in the interview that if someone got into him they wouldn't finish the race, I'd call that entirely a premeditated crash. Tear up his licences and move on.

Also, punting a guy in a turn with a standing double yellow and two wrecked cars/workers out doesn't get you parked right from the get go? Just a drive through?

I wonder if charges of some sort can be filed. Hit him where it hurts. His wallet. And keep him off track permanently.

he probably has enough money that a fine won't matter … "blackball" him from any and all racing series … in other words get the word out to all sanctioning bodies … that would hit him where it hurts .. since he thinks he's a racecar driver

He comes in for a race and directly affects a championship in progress . . . What an a-hole.

As long as I can remember Drissi has been racing trans-am. Honestly his actions and other bonehead moves in racing this year seems like people racing as if they are in a simulator. Last Sunday showed how dangerous racing is and it seems as though nobody has respect for racing craft.

I raced on the dirt ovals for 8 years and never saw anything as blatant as that. He kept turning into her even after initial contact.

Do we have a video clip? I'm at the airport and I can't seem to find it on porntube. Also, where does this jackass live? I feel like severing a spinal cord.

I posted this to Drissi's Facebook page after the race, and last I checked it was still there. Got quite a few "likes"...

I don't get CBS and didn't see the race. Also can't find a video.
