I’ve seen Funny Cars do this before, but now the rules require it instead of penalizing it. We’re still trying to figure out how to let cars run two-wide anywhere but at Charlotte so it doesn’t look like a figure-eight race, but we’ll iron out the wrinkles and make it work to everyone’s satisfaction.
