So far our small town has been on the rise but very few cases at school. Popular opinion is thanksgiving break or even a bit sooner they will go back too E learning. A lot of the conspiracy nuts locally think the schools only stayed open because our varsity team plays for the state championship this weekend.

I don't think that's entirely untrue, but I do think it misses a little bit of nuance.  Society has been structured such that kids of a certain age are shuffled off to school from morning until afternoon for 9 months out of the year and people have planned accordingly.  There are plenty of contingency plans that parents have for what happens when there's a snow day or something like that, but a long-term closure or re-ordering of that structure isn't really a sign that people can't care for all their kids all the time, full-stop.  My wife went back to work about a year ago because our youngest was old enough to ride the bus home from school and be home alone for the 60-90 minutes before a parent got home from work on those days that work wasn't from home anyway.  Transportation home from school was part of the package and the older kids could stay at their school and participate in clubs and do homework until 5pm.  So we built everything around that.  It's really that this pandemic has created a new environment in terms of how our children are getting educated and what options they have for entertainment outside of the home.  If this is the way that school will be forever, then we would alter our family structure and work commitments (and budget!) to accomodate that.  But it's a bit tough to try to make that decision without knowing if this is a forever thing, a one-more-month thing, a six-more-months thing, etc.

My school is selected for the playoffs but Covid on the team canceled  the season for them

To fill in my time the company has me doing Special Ed bus runs. ( I'm grateful  )   Most of the kids appear normal but a brief conversation with them I understand why. Some are even attractive and superficially you wonder why.  Reading the notes tells me not only why but how to handle them. Some are hand to hand, others eye to eye a few can be released at their homes.

Deer camp.

One time... in deer camp.....

You are all fools if you make light of the deer's capabilities to spread this pandemic. Remember the Herpes expansion in the early 90s? 85% were traced back to deer. Flu in the 1910s? Deer. The oil crisis in the 70's? Deer.

What do you think the masks are for?! So they dont recognize you. The fake news doesnt want to tell you the truth. 03Panther knows what's up.

This is true. Saw it on a YouTube video. Do your research sheep!

The deer are getting out of control. Somebody needs to do something.

My wife works with the mentally disabled, they go to a local workshop/school during the day and really look forward too it but it's on the verge of being closed back down and it makes my wife sad. It's the only social interaction outside of the caretaker many of these people have. She's more worried about that then the twins being sent home

Yes,  good looking young men and women.  Maybe it's naïveté .   I had just assumed  special needs students would appear, well different somehow.  Only a percentage are.
Some have terminal issues with grim prognoses while others have lifetime debilitating issues.
