Not bored with it, per se, but it will be for sale soon.

I'm glad you like it; what mpg did you average with your first tank?
Joe Gearin wrote: I dunno, Scion / Subaru promised the car would come in around $25K, and they came through on that price. IMHO it's a great value at that price point.
I just sat in a toyota today; it had $700 paint protection, $70 wheel locks, $70 emblem, "special delivery" giving a total of 1500 of CRAP from the dealer and the MSRP (including the junk) was 25k. No "real" options. It was nice.
I'm 6' and I had to recline the seat a little to fit with my helmet, but no where as bad as my C4 vette when I had that. It has decent room!
I didn't test drive it because I didn't want to beat on a car someone else was going to buy. It left a really good impression. It has a toyota "feel."
I really don't know how American cars get bashed for interior quality and this is "nice" but that's another rant.....
I'm curious how the seats will hold up, they are a nice grippy felt like material and feel great, but don't look like regular toyota wear like iron material.
I'm tempted to go back monday and feel out the trade in value for my DD. Or I may keep my DD and buy a used na miata....
If anyone is looking; there is a silver manual trans no option scion in central PA and the friendly salesman chatted me up about his challenger, and when I got out my helmet mentioned how he "teaches some drivers at a little track in virginia.."
hope you keep loving your "drivers car."

Reference my comparison to the girlfriend sans undergarments to understand my dilemma. I am sure that things will get much better as the relationship matures. Maybe.
our "local" subaru shop (whose suspension is on my WRX) is already full-tilt building parts for the BRZ/FRS, and they have one of their own on their new suspension, with wheels, that looks amazing.
Just some eye candy, if this works:
for any of you who are on facebook, there are more pics of it on Racecomp Performance's page there. I think the suspension is the RCE Yellow springs and Bilsteins (same as on my WRX). They do a great job at matching valving and spring rates at RCE. I think it also has camber plates on it.
18x8 +38 offset with 245 rubber. Myles at RCE says that 265s can fit in the rear if the wheels are spaced in a bit.

Like I said, I can understand it, especially with it being a niche vehicle.Perhaps my memory is failing me, but I don't remember toyota or Subaru ever promising such a low price. That sounds like something the speculators would say. My svt focus is almost ten years old now, and I think that its sticker was only a few ticks shy of 20k.
It sucks to get old doesn't it?
It definitely was $20k in the beginning and when the price started climbing to $25k is when I lost interest. But I regained interest when I saw it in person. It was better looking than the pics indicated.
