I think I've seen his name mentioned before.
Well he's retiring and I'm pretty certain GRM will be at the ROLEX.
Seems like a good story.
Let the anecdotes begin. Please.

Talented driver, with the versatility to succeed in various types of racing (Indy/Sports Cars/Stock cars) in the tradition of legends like Gurney, Andretti, Donohue and Foyt. It would be awesome to see him get another Rolex 24 win.
And I know there is some Merkur love in this group, so...
Back in the Eighties, the original St. Petersburg Grand Prix was a TransAm race. Pruett was racing one of Jack Roush's Merkur XR4Ti's. Mercury hired our local SCCA region set up a Merkur ride-and-drive autocross. Pruett came by and made a couple of celebrity runs in a stock XR4Ti.

Seems like low hanging Pruett...
Retiring? Heck I remember when he was little Scott Pruett! When he wasn't even able to drink legally! That just makes me feel old! Wait I'm old?
See what happens when you get old!
This morning on NPR they began talking about racer Scott Pruett and I thought to myself, oh God what happened. Shocked they were talking about him retiring.
He is one of the nicest drivers at the meet-and-greets. Very pleasant and always seemed like a good guy. Hated to see him lose his DP ride because he was still running at the pointy end of the spear in terms of pace.
