I'm going to be headed out to Cartoberfest tomorrow. Anyone else from the area going? The Fastrak Exotic driving group I work with will also be there.

HHmm, it's real close. What times are people thinking of going. I have a E36 M3 load of work to do, but 20 mins off for a gander might be worth it.
In reply to Adrian_Thompson:
I plan on getting there near the start and grab lunch noon-ish.

I registered in TDSP since I have Hotchkiss anti-roll bars and a short shifter. I haven't auto-xed in a long time though. Just doing this for fun :) Also, do you drive Ellsworth much? I see a silver RX-8 occasionally around. I work near Varsity and Ellsworth.
I'm occasionally on Ellsworth when things get backed up on Eisenhower/Packard and I-94, but that's not my normal route.
You don't happen to work at Cayman Chemical, do you? I've got a friend or two who work there.

So kind of like an autocross

God, no. You'd never get that much track time at an autocross.
The Lingenfelter Collection is having an open house tomorrow, too. Admission is by donations to benefit breast cancer research. I'll probably hit that with my son in the morning.
I was there until about 3. I forgot to post what I would be wearing so you could spot me. Anyway, here are some pictures :) Click on the pictures for some more stuff as well.

My weekend job. I instruct with these guys about once a month sitting right seat and giving hot laps :)
Nice meeting you scardeal! Also, didn't get a chance to say hi, but your runs were looking good, wawazat!

Thank you! I saw your car at Cartoberfest (BTW-We parked next to you in my DD Legacy GT specB and my boys 3 & 5 thought your car looked AWESOME :D. That color combo looks great!)
Tried on some Hoosier R6's that I scored locally and had a BLAST on them! That course was very friendly to my old girl and my buddy and I had fun winding her up. That was the most fun I've had at an autocross by a big margin. I now understand the term Purple Crack! We watched your runs and I am constantly amazed by how impressive RX-8's are on course. I'm sorry I didn't catch your times but you appeared to be moving fast when I saw you.
I went with my wife for a 30 min look around. I've got many of the same pics as above, although not with the TK girls. In hindsight I should have got a pic of my wife with the TK girls . Fun distraction during errands. Loved inside with the silver I think it was 930 on a lift with a green long hood underneath.
It was good to meet you Phil. I had an absolutely crappy set of runs yesterday. But it was still fun. Mostly.
